Community Basketball Information
Wallburg offers Basketball to boys and girls living in the Wallburg community
Cost is $120
Zero-Tolerance for Coaches AND Parents will be in FULL force!
Wallburg Athletic Association youth basketball program for grades, Kindergarden through 8th. Divisions seperated by age. No Refunds will be given after registration closes. Refunds do not include the 3.00 service fee no matter the circumstance. We reserve the right to refund participants if enough players are not signed up to make a team.
Teams will be made up of 7 per team. This helps ensure all players have equal playing time and is good size team for a coach to manage. As the end of registration approaches we will be monitoring the number of kids registered and may open up a wait list to ensure teams do not get too big. If enought players are on a wait list to make a team you will be moved off the wait list and your credit card will be charged at that point. If we do not have enough on the wait list to make a team you will be refunded. We encurage you to register early.
Registration
-Registration is $120
-We provide jerseys, game, and practice balls.
-Parents will need to provide black shorts.
Practices
-Practice will start the beginning of November.
-Practice schedules are made up after registration closes.
-Practice times are chosen by the coaches.
-2 Practices, 1 during the week and 1 on the weekend until games begin. Once games begin, there will be 1 practice a week on the weekend.
Games
-Games will start early December and run through early Febuary
Divisions Available (Divisions are set by birthdays that align with the school calendar)
- 6U Co-ed (Typically K-1 grades)
- 8U Boys and 8U Girls (Typically 2-3 grades)
- Little League Instructional Boys (Typically 9 yrs old/4th grade)
- Little League Instructional Girls (Typically 9 yrs old/4th grade)
- Little League Boys (Typically 5-6 Grades)
- Little League Girls (Typically 5-6 Grades)
- Jr Boys (Typically 7-8 Grades)
- Sr Boys (Typically 9,10,11 Grades)
*If you are practicing at the Wallburg gym COACHES and PARENTS need to ensure the bathrooms are clean,
chairs are put away, lights are turned off and lock the gym doors before leaving
