Wallburg Athletic Association youth volleyball program
Please note we are working on fine tuning the league with the other county booster clubs this season. We have met and made a few decisions to add 4th graders and extend our ages to have 9th graders at this time. We will still have two leagues, with the Little League being the 4th, 5th and 6th graders and the Junior League being the 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. It is still done by your birth date though.
Coaches
We need coaches. If you are interested in coaching, there is a section towrads the end of the registration process that allows you to sign up to be either an assistant or head coach.
Registration
-Registration is $120.
-Jerseys and volleyballs provided.
Practices
-Practice will start March 9th .
-Practice schedules are made up after registration closes.
-Practice times are chosen by the coaches.
-2 Practices during the week until games begin. Once games begin, there will be 1 practice during the week. There may be practices scheudled on the weekend depedning on how many teams we have.
Games
-LL Games will be on Monday and Wednesday (subject to change)
-JR Games will be Tuesday and Thursday (subject to change)
-Games will start March 24th.
-Tournament will start May 12th.
-No games wil be scheduled the week of April 21st.
-Games will be held at different school gyms in the county at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm.
